  Happy new year folks! Welcome to my annual daft wee movie blog post, recapping my year in cinema and aiming to give you a few laughs for a few minutes. Bit late this year. I usually post it on December 31st, but truth be told- I'm just knackered. I think we all are from 2021. And what a year it was- musicals to multiverses, with everything in between. There were plenty of highs with the arrival of a few blockbusters that were delayed from last year, as well as quite a few lows, with studios occasionally missing the mark and making 'checklist' movies with no originality or point for existing (except $$$).  Will try to keep this year's awards more upbeat and focussed on celebrating the year in film, rather than putting down films- as even the most misguided, cynical, or failed movie will have had hard working people in the crew. Before you go anywhere hit subscribe!!!!  Some of you had been enquiring how to subscribe to the blog and as far as I know it's now been updated so there should be a little subscribe icon that pops up to the left there.  SHOULD, but who knows. Final year of uni can be a bit of a drag, so I had to take some time out of drawing/designing/blogging there but prepare to be pestered once more because I'm back! There's a new website on the way, news of 2 new films that I'm working on and of course updates on Project 250, but more on those later... It's the second edition of Guess the Sketch! So for today's new project I decided to learn how to use the Pen Tool in Photoshop and how it could be used to create vector based artwork. It's all about outlining shapes in a much more precise way than the Lasso tool and using them as custom shapes that can be coloured, resized and pretty much manipulated any way imaginable. Nothing too complicated yet 'cos it really takes a while to get used to, but here's what I've managed to come up with so far More comin' your way soon!

Goofy, out of place, nerdy and yet skinny and agile. Great hair too. Emma Stone is amazing. Who was she playing? We've come to the end of our first story arc, a team up with Rulk and now Spidey's found a new partner... Hawkeye! Straight from the pages of The Avengers and right in time to promote his new movie, 'The Avengers', the Robin Hood of the Marvel world teams up with the Masked Menace to go out on patrol.
