Guess the sketch #2

Before you go anywhere hit subscribe!!!!  Some of you had been enquiring how to subscribe to the blog and as far as I know it's now been updated so there should be a little subscribe icon that pops up to the left there.  SHOULD, but who knows. Final year of uni can be a bit of a drag, so I had to take some time out of drawing/designing/blogging there but prepare to be pestered once more because I'm back! There's a new website on the way, news of 2 new films that I'm working on and of course updates on Project 250, but more on those later... It's the second edition of Guess the Sketch! First person to comment and get it right can pick who I draw next. Yep, not as hard as last time. Everyone's second favourite Spider-man, Andrew Garfield!

PROJECT 250- Week 1

Project 250 is my goal to do 250 daily sketch challenges this year, at least. Time to improve by doing, not talking about it. Goal is to get 5 of Outcast Studios' DSCs per week with drawings taking anywhere between 10 mins and an hour a day, Monday to Friday. Also I'm going to mix things up with digital/traditional, full bodies/headshots, color/black and white. If I can do more, this will become PROJECT 300. This is what I do and this is where it starts. Enjoy, week 2 will be up soon. Monday Spider-man Tuesday Deathlocket Wednesday Dr. Lazarus Thursday Po Friday Batmobile Already Week 2's looking better. Remember to enquire about any commissions, of any type of art/media.

Amazing Spider-man 2 Appearance Speculation

SPOILERS!!!! Who was the man in the shadows? The next villain. Sequel speculation You did stay for the mid-credits sequence, right? Am I right? Even though everyone else in the cinema left, you stayed didn't you? Well there was a creepy dude in the shadows of Connors' cell who made sure he didn't tell Peter about his parents. But who was he? And who will the next villain be? Norman Osborn The obvious choice. He controls Connors and Dr. Ratha and he's revealed to be dying in the film. The Green Goblin in the comics and in Sam Raimi's trilogy. Likely because he's been mentioned already. He might end up taking some kind of serum, possibly based on the lizard's in a desperate attempt to save his life, thus transforming him into a goblin like creature. Might he be involved in a certain story line involving Gwen and a bridge? *cough *MJ set up *cough* Unlikely because it's too soon after Sam Raimi's Stormin' Norman. They...

The Amazing Spiderman?

The Amazing Spiderman? SPOILERIFFIC IF YOU HAVEN"T SEEN IT GO WATCH IT NOW! CRAZY FOO! Too early for a reboot? Tobey Maguire was too old to play a teenager but 27 year old Andrew Garfield isn't? Another origin story? Emma Stone's playing Gwen, when she's a clear choice for MJ? No J. Jonah Jameson????? OK so there were a lot of concerns regarding the new Spidey movie, but you have to go into it just looking for a good movie and that's exactly what it delivers. Forget the Sam Raimi trilogy and you'll have a great few hours. Emma Stone in 3D. The closest I'll ever get without a restraining order Andrew Garfield is a great Peter Parker. Goofy, out of place, nerdy and yet skinny and agile. Great hair too. Emma Stone is amazing. Who was she playing? Who cares, it's Emma Stone =D Martin Sheen does surprisingly well as a likeable and strong Uncle Ben in such a small role and has much more impact on the film then Sally Field as Aunt May, who m...

Avenging Spider-man #4 Review

We've come to the end of our first story arc, a team up with Rulk and now Spidey's found a new partner... Hawkeye! Straight from the pages of The Avengers and right in time to promote his new movie, 'The Avengers', the Robin Hood of the Marvel world teams up with the Masked Menace to go out on patrol. Writer: Zeb Wells Artist: Greg Land Inks: Jay Leisten Colours: Wil Quintana Cover: Greg Land & Justin Ponsor Plot: Captain America has sent Spider-man and Hawkeye out on street patrol, a concept which Hawkeye can't understand a need for. "We have enough trouble without going out looking for more" is his theory. Eventually they stumble onto the trail of a plot to launch a gas attack at Grand Central Station by The Serpent Society, although this is secondary, as the main focus is on Hawkeye's strange behaviour. Throughout the issue Hawkeye is clearly agitated, he's rash, he's snappy, and he can't sit still for 5 minut...
