Captain America: The Winter Soldier Film of the Year 2014 Captain America: The Winter Soldier is both a saviour and a fatal destroyer to the comic book movie. A film that got audiences thinking ‘actually Captain America isn’t the lamest Avenger’ and being so critically and commercially well received that people can finally forget that The First Avenger ever happened.   Excellent direction, more twists than a game of twister and a villain who nearly raises to Joker-level iconicness. Robert Redford and Anthony Mackie are excellent additions to the cast with Sam Jackson, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson all raising their game beyond anything else we’ve seen of them in the MCU.   Seriously exciting to watch action scenes with great choreography and sound editing in particular. Final year of uni can be a bit of a drag, so I had to take some time out of drawing/designing/blogging there but prepare to be pestered once more because I'm back! There's a new website on the way, news of 2 new films that I'm working on and of course updates on Project 250, but more on those later... It's the second edition of Guess the Sketch! Ok peeps, here's week 6 of Project 250! So far, so good! Just another quick recap to any new followers, Project 250 is my goal of doing 250 Daily Sketch Challenges this year, as posted on Outcast Studios. I may be drawing them digitally/traditionally, head sketches/full bodies and even 3D CGI sometimes (check out last week's Punxsutawney Pete if you don't believe me!) So yeah these daily challenges usually take between 15 mins and an hour, depending on hour much time I have. Unfortunately last week seen me in hospital and not being too well the rest of the week but I managed to churn out some stuff anyway. I also was prioritising my Round 1 CBR drawing which you can check out in the previous post. This week's theme was WITCHES! Bit of a stressful week as my final university exams tomorrow so the majority of these drawings were done at around 5am in the morning, due to a combination of so much revision and me not being able to sleep =/ Project 250: So once again, Project 250 is me doing 5 Daily Sketch Challenges every week, Monday to Friday, with the goal of finishing 250 sketches this year. If I get time to do any other drawings in between like the weekend challenges and I beat my goal, then it will become Project 300! The Scottscars 2012 I think it’s more fun to have an awards ceremony at the end of the year, just a bit better, more tidy.
