Ok so after one narrow defeat and one defeat by default, me and L34D was raring to go. He threw six or seven insane sketches at me, all with totally different ideas.
After looking through them, I decided I liked the idea of Superman flying beside an aeroplane and a child looking out the window at him in awe.

L34D fired these sexy lines my way...

I coloured her up with L34D doing some touch ups and Bam here's our entry

So our opponents went a different route and threw up this bad boy

We were praised for our colours but shot down for our lack of originality once more....

Result......

Welcome to the 14th edition of the Scottscars! The annual movie awards blog that makes winning an Oscar feel like a consolation prize. The Scottscars 2016 Movie Awards

So it's been quite the year. Quite the year indeed. From celebrity deaths to crazy political shifts to me spending the last 8 weeks recovering from surgery, quality films have been needed more than ever to distract us average joes from the chaos of 2016. Once again, I didn't get to see as many new movies as I would have liked (104 to be exact, 23 of them being rewatches, but who's counting?) but the year certainly has given us some incredible highs, like when we discovered just what was really going on in Arrvial , and some facepalm inducing lows, like TMNT 2 from start to finish. So I've decided that my artwork's went waaaay downhill since I moved to digital sketching and inking. I still prefer digital for non messy colouring but for sketching, nothing beats a good ol' pencil.
