*PREVIEW* Art Collaboration Tournament Round 4!! Siberian Exile

Ok so round 4 is due up tomorrow so I'll post our final piece and our opponents piece when I get a free minute

So our them for this round, which I've just realised is the FINAL ROUND ='( is Siberian Exile

After I let the team down on previous rounds I let L34D pick our subject and do prelim sketches.
He had been playing Skyrim alot and said it inspired his piece and I loved the sketch.

Then we decided to swap roles....

I would take over as inker and he'd colour it up.

Anyone who knows me knows I'm not an inker. At all. My hands are too shaky from mass amounts of alcoh...... video games.... cough

so this is the first piece I've inked in months and also my first piece ever using Manga Studio instead of Photoshop =)

What do you guys think?
Have we a chance of scoring our first points???!

*edit I did another version of her while playing about on MS

all that's left now is for L34D to colour her and crop her and that's the end of the Tag Team Battle Royale =(

The Scottscars 2025

Welcome to the 14th edition of the Scottscars! The annual movie awards blog that makes winning an Oscar feel like a consolation prize. The movie industry had to bounce back this year after the end of the Sony Spider-Man Universe. Absolutely no Kraven the Hunter or Madame Web movies on this year’s slate. But bounce back it did — from Amazon making a 90-minute advert for Amazon Prime and calling it War of the Worlds , to Cynthia Erivo getting emotional at a helicopter flying overhead during another excellent and completely normal human being Wicked press tour. Avatar once again blurred the lines between live action and animation, while more live-action remakes continued to dominate the box office. So grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and have your favourite A.I. summarise this year’s Scottscars for you. Movie stats for the year Movies watched: 78 Cinema visits: 29 times Most watched director: Hayao Miyazaki Most watched actor: Alan Tudyk The running order, a...

The Scottscars 2016 Movie Awards

So it's been quite the year. Quite the year indeed. From celebrity deaths to crazy political shifts to me spending the last 8 weeks recovering from surgery, quality films have been needed more than ever to distract us average joes from the chaos of 2016.            Once again, I didn't get to see as many new movies as I would have liked (104 to be exact, 23 of them being rewatches, but who's counting?) but the year certainly has given us some incredible highs, like when we discovered just what was really going on in Arrvial , and some facepalm inducing lows, like TMNT 2 from start to finish. So with that, here are my thought on the past year, followed by some predictions I made last year ( which didn't go so well) and a brand new shiny set for next year. Enjoy! THE AWARDS! Food Fight Award for FAVOURITE ANIMATED MOVIE Boy and the Beast Runners up: Zootopia Moana Kung Fu Panda 3 Your Name The Mummy Retu...

Guess the Sketch!

So I've decided that my artwork's went waaaay downhill since I moved to digital sketching and inking. I still prefer digital for non messy colouring but for sketching, nothing beats a good ol' pencil. So for my first serious pencil sketch since my Sherlock Holmes sketch back in about 2008 I decided to sketch ......... Why don't you guess? Here's my first initial outlines, which to be honest looks like a troll in drag. Anyone who guesses right before I update the post with my progress can pick what I draw next! That's right people- FREE COMMISSION! Post your guesses here on the blog if you have a googlemail/gmail account or in the link on my facebook Dear, dear I've got my work cut out for me
